Membership
Important Note: Terms conditions and exclusions apply. Our insurance programs are renewed annually and are subject to change. Membership cancellation
Insurance notice - For family or household membership - if you enter a PO BOX address you must be able to provide proof that all family/household members reside permanently at the same address to be covered by our insurance.
Cyclecover has been appointed by Bicycle NSW to administer the Member Insurance Program. For information on membership of Bicycle NSW please visit www.bicyclensw.org.au or phone 02 9218-5400. Members agree to accept the Terms, Conditions and Policies of the insurance provided with membership, details of which are available from the links on the membership page of our website.

How We Collect Personal Information
Bicycle NSW collects personal information in a number of ways, including:

Security: What measures do we take to protect your data? Bicycle NSW takes appropriate precautions to safeguard data at a level commensurate with the sensitivity of the data.
Bicycle NSW will handle your information in accordance with the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Bicycle NSW will rely on the employee record and related companies exemptions where appropriate.

Data Retention and Destruction Bicycle NSW undertakes to retain Your Data only as long as is consistent with its purpose; and to destroy Your Data when its purpose has expired, and to do so in such a manner that Your Data is not subsequently capable of being recovered.
In the event that you dispute some aspect of Your Data, Bicycle NSW undertakes to take reasonable steps in relation to the amendment, supplementation or deletion of Your Data, provided you undertake to not to seek access for frivolous purposes, or unreasonably frequently; to accept that deletion of some data may not be consistent with the provision of particular services by Bicycle NSW to you.
Marketing Material from our sponsors and marketing partners
Bicycle NSW is a not-for-profit organisation. In order to fund its operations, Bicycle NSW will from time to time enter into sponsorship or marketing partnership arrangements with commercial organisations. Where our marketing partners or sponsors are able to offer our members and subscribers offers for products or services or information on upcoming events we are keen to pass this information on to you. As such, Bicycle NSW (or our service providers) may contact you by mail, telephone, SMS or e-mail to inform you of these offers if you have consented to be contacted for these purposes. . Handling of Enquiries, General Concerns and Complaints If you have enquiries, general concerns, or complaints about these Terms, or about Bicycle NSW's behaviour in relation to these Terms, you undertake: to communicate them in the first instance:

Bicycle NSW undertakes:
* to provide one or more channels for communications to Bicycle NSW, which are convenient to users;

Bicycle NSW strives to protect the personal information you provide us with from misuse, loss, unauthorised access and unauthorised disclosure. Personal information we receive is stored mainly electronically, on a secure server database. We also restrict physical access to that server.
