NRMA Gold Medal Challenge

logov3.jpgRegistrations for the NRMA Gold Medal Challenge have now closed. The challenge invited students and teachers to set, then cycle a kilometre goal before 16th December 2011. As part of the challenge Bicycle NSW is running a number of events across the state – scroll down for more information.

The great thing about the challenge is that you decide how quickly you clock up your kilometres, where you ride and who with. Rides of any type and distance can count towards your goal – remember to always wear your helmet and ensure your bike is in good working order before each ride.

Once registered, you can use the electronic or paper logbook to record your rides. Please note that the paper logbook can only be accessed online:

Electronic logbook – this is the easiest way to record your rides. Once you register we'll send you the logbook via email. Complete your details as highlighted in the logbook, save onto your computer and update on a regular basis. Once completed it can be emailed to Bicycle NSW at goldmedal@bicyclensw.org.au

Paper logbook – if you prefer to hand write your ride details, then download the paper log sheets which can be printed at home. These can be returned to Bicycle NSW along with the paper log cover sheet. The address is provided on the cover sheet.

Log the kilometres you ride - the most important thing for you to do is keep an accurate log of the kilometres you have ridden. Fill in the log sheets on a daily or weekly basis and see your kilometres stack up.

You have until Friday 16th December 2011 to reach your goal

Have your kilometres verified - this is as easy as getting a teacher, parent, guardian or coach to check your logbook.

Every participant to log and complete their kilometre goal before Friday 16th December will receive a gold medal.

See who's completed their goal so far on the wall of fame!
