Central HUB |
The grounds and facilities at Emu's Rugby Club, Endeavour Oval, Woodward Road, Orange will become the Central HUB for the Discovery Weekend. All rides will start and finish from the Central HUB and it will also be the venue for the welcome night function on Friday 23 March 2012. Click here for a map The Central HUB is approximately 2.5kms from the centre of town and is easily accessible by bike or walking. It also provides easy access to the main roads to head out to towns such as Millthorpe, Carcoar, Blayney, Molong, Parkes, Forbes and Canowindra. Bicycle NSW will be utilising the many facilities available to us at Endeavour Oval, including showers and toilets, bar facilities and a canteen open for use: perfect for a long weekend of cycling. |

Camping |
For those looking for that "Big Ride feel", why not bring your tent and camp at the Central HUB? The camping facilities at Endeavour Oval are basic unpowered sites on the oval and are only suitable for tents. Each rider and volunteer will be assigned a grass location in the camping area to pitch their tent for the weekend. A dedicated team of volunteers will be on hand to help manage the set-up of the camping area to ensure we can fit the maximum number of riders and volunteers without making the area feel cramped. Please note you will need to provide your own tent and camping equipment.
**Camping will be available from Midday Friday 23 March till Midday Monday 26 March** Camping fees (for the whole weekend - Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights):
