Corporate Volunteering

There are many ways for a business to partner with Bicycle NSW to their mutual benefit. One of these is for the company to encourage its employees to volunteer for Bicycle NSW on one of their many events or bicycle programs.

There are many forms of volunteering, including

• Giving your staff a paid day a month in which they can volunteer for Bicycle NSW.
• Having your staff join together for a "team" or "whole-of-business" volunteering day or afternoon. It might be a team project to act as marshals at one of our events or supply lunch to all our volunteers.
• Letting your staff volunteer over the internet using their work computer. Virtual volunteering is a great way to let your employees expand their skill set, especially at times of low demand.
• Having your staff members - particularly those with some expertise in bike mechanics, financial or legal matters, volunteer on our online world giving advice and answering any questions our members and supporters may have about cycling.
• Buying a block of memberships on behalf of your staff to support a Bicycle NSW - a great reward and incentive program.

Corporate volunteering has many benefits for employees, employers, Bicycle NSW, and the community as a whole - These include:
