2008 AGM Report
Thank you to all our members who attended the 2008 AGM in person and to those who submitted a proxy vote. The strength of community organizations like ours is based on member participation so it is always encouraging to see people getting involved.
3 nominations were received for the 3 vacancies on the Board and so the 3 candidates were taken as being elected at the meeting. Profiles of your 3 new Board members David McGrath, John Cooper and Ken Price appear on the Board Information page of this website, so please go and take a look!
In addition at the AGM members were asked to consider and vote on 6 special resolutions relating to changes to our constitution. Each of the 6 resolutions was carried with a greater than 75% majority in favour. Full details of the results of the vote, the new constitution, a copy of the presentations and minutes from the meeting are available for download below.
