Privacy Statement for Entry Forms
Bicycle New South Wales Incorporated (ABN 26 511 801 801) (Bicycle NSW) is collects your personal information for the purposes of:

• process your application for entry in this event and administering the event;;
• informing you of similar forthcoming events in the future;
• offering you the opportunity to become a member of Bicycle NSW and informing you of the benefits of such membership and Bicycle NSW's activities and services; ; and
• helping us to encourage and lobby for facilities for cyclists.

If you give us your email address we will use it to communicate with you in connection with the purposes listed above.  If you have consented, we will also use your email address or other contact details to inform you about products and services offered by our marketing partners and sponsors.

If you do not provide the personal information we request or the personal information of your emergency contact we may not be able to register you for participation in this event.
By providing the personal information of your emergency contact you warrant that you have their authority to disclose that information to Bicycle NSW.  You also agree to ensure that they are aware of the matters set out in this entry form.

In Connection with the purposes list above, Bicycle NSW may disclose your personal inforamtion to:

• insurers, legal officers and law enforcement agencies to identify, contact or bring legal action against anyone damaging, injuring or interfering (intentionally or unintentionally) with Bicycle NSW's rights, property, members, programme participants, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities;
• professional advisers, including accountants, auditors and lawyers to carry out their legal requirements;
• government and regulatory authorities;
• secondary parties, but only to the extent necessary based on your agreement to participate in programmes run, led by or otherwise involving that secondary party; or
• third party service providers to which Bicycle NSW outsources its operations (e.g third party mail houses, event organisers etc)

Bicycle NSW will handle your information in accordance with the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).  Bicycle NSW will rely on the employee record and related companies exemptions where appropriate. You have a right to contact the Privacy Officer and request access to personal information held about you by Bicycle NSW. If Bicycle NSW is unable to provide such access we will tell you why.
