![]() The Bicycle NSW Ride2School program was officially launched on National Ride2School Day 2008 by The Hon. Verity Firth MP. Minister for Climate Change and the Environment. Schools can register with the program to recieve a number of benefits that are proven to increase the number and frequency of students choosing active travel.
"Ride2School is not just about riding bicycles, it’s about working with school staff and students to safely promote and encourage active travel and educating that the decision to ride, walk, skate or scooter to and from school (and in the community) has a positive effect on both the individual and the wider environment both now and in the future."
Registration is quick and easy and takes a couple of minutes. The program has been designed to consume a small amount of your time yet have a big impact.
