Bike Theft Insurance Great bike theft insurance offers for Bicycle NSW Members		Hands Up! active travel surveys are done each month. Each class records the number of students who walked, rode or were driven to school that morning. Regular monitoring has been shown to hasten behaviour change, because it helps maintain the focus on continual improvement. Teachers have told us that students enjoy the process of being surveyed. Registered schools recieve a unique identity and password allowing them to log into the Hands Up! system. Congratulations to the New South Wales schools that entered Hands Up! data for the month of July. The results were obtained from 5 schools across the state, showing an average of 40% students choosing active travel to get to and from school. All schools who entered data will be recieving a helmet and Ride2School t shirts! Some more detail from July's NSW Hands Up! results: Upper Coopers Creek Public School and Kurnell Public School jointly recorded the highest percentage of active students at 66% The Pocket Public School has seen an increase from 14% of students choosing active travel in March to 37% in July, an awesome achievement - well done! Here are some results. Public Transport = Blue, Walk = Red, Car = Yellow and Bike = Green Bonshaw Public School... The Pocket Public School... Congratulations to all the staff and students at all the schools who entered data and took part - keep up the good work and lets aim for more astounding results next month! Don't forget to input your Hands Up! data in July. Schools can enter information at any time throughout the month. All schools that enter data in August will be placed in a draw to win a brand new Malvern Star bicycle and helmet!! Register Your School to Participate in Hands Up - its free! You will need to complete the registration form to recieve access to the Hands Up! portal. Upon recieving your form we will send you a user name and password to log in. Each registered school gets its own "portal" for data entry, historical records and links to helpful active travel information. It's free, it's easy and you could win your school great prizes so register your school to be part of the action!
