Bike Theft Insurance Great bike theft insurance offers for Bicycle NSW Members		Our school is on a very busy highway and is not safe to encourage our students to ride? The majority of our students travel in from large distances so it’s not practical for them to travel using active travel? Obviously, the location of the school and travel distances are major influences and barriers which we can’t change. The Ride2School program is about promoting responsible active travel both in school settings and the wider community. Schools that face these issues can still reap the benefits of being involved in the Ride2school program, providing students with an education and awareness program to develop and sustain healthy behaviours outside school and in the future. The Ride2School team campaigns for projects to directly address the barriers that students face to choosing active travel (such as ride education programs and bicycle storage). We listen to and address the different barriers that students and schools face. Registering with Ride2School shows your support and improves our capacity to lobby on behalf of Ride2School registered schools and students across the state. All our staff at the school are too busy to be involved in this program? We understand that school staff have little time to commit to the program. The program has been created with this in mind and has been designed to have maximum impact with minimal effort. It takes 2 minutes to register via our online form. Once registered the Ride2School team does the rest - all we ask for is that schools enter their Hands Up!^R survey data each month, which consists of a simple hands up survey and the entry of data into a specially designed template. We are already half way through the term – can our school still be involved? Yes. You can join the Ride2School program at anytime during the year. There is no deadline for registration; they remain open throughout the year.
